Whether simply wishing to be a part of a credible record shop or wanting to make a difference to others lives, the thread that ties us all together is a shared passion for music. Check out each month’s team member profile to see what music means to them.
If you would like to donate your time to us and volunteer in The Music Exchange we would love to hear from you. The Music Exchange is apart of a large organization and this can provide opportunities for our volunteers to progress onto more direct work with homeless people if they wish.

Back in my home city of Leicester growing up, my taste of music and my lifestyle was Ragga, always attending local house parties called ‘blues’. Moving to Notts later on in life I discovered underground dance and Rave! This took me to another level, new friends, a new (short) career DJ’ing at local and not so local clubs.
My taste for music is very versatile and always will be. Music is like a key, certain tracks open up memories to your past like nothing else can.
